Accounting changes for revenue recognition are here! Proper implementation will require consideration of what applies and even
necessitate some policy documentation that will differ for each construction company. Gain insight into commonalities around
implementation along with a concise list of accounting policies and practical expedients to adopt and document and understand
what data needs to be gathered for new disclosures. Get a heads-up on some other accounting and audit standards may impact
2019 as well or are on the not-so-distant horizon. On the tax side, obtain an understanding of new guidance in the tax reform
aftermath and learn about strategies available to navigating federal, state and local tax changes. Join CFMA NH Chapter for an
overview of recent changes in GAAP and tax from a construction industry perspective.

You will gain insight on:

• Understand implementation of revenue recognition under the modified retrospective approach –what data needs to be gathered, what policies should be adopted and what thresholds should be set.

• Identify other recent accounting and audit standards updates that may impact your company’s accounting policies, procedures and reporting.

• Grasp income tax changes and planning opportunities coming for 2019 and beyond.

BerryDunn will be our presenter and event sponsor
